Can I purchase directly from you?
"You can purchase from us directly but we highly recommend working with your local dealer to find product in stock. Sometimes we can run long wait times as we are a manufacturer and set up to make and deliver to distributors who stock items and sell to local dealers."
If I do order online how long before my order ships?
"We can not answer that as it will be determined on the time of the year (in season waits are exponentially longer than off season waits) and it will depend on how many orders are ahead of you." Please do not order from us if you are on a specific time frame. We can not tell you exactly when your order will ship or how long of a wait you will have.
What if I need my order soon and I need to know it will ship soon?
"We do have a Rush order option that you can choose. There is a Rush fee that will apply. What we do is we immediately take your order and get production working on just building your order and we get it out ASAP (usually within 7-10 days). This option is available when you place your online order or you can upgrade by e-mailing your order info (first and last name and order #) in and saying you would like to Rush your order.
Once my order is placed what is the process?
"Once your order is placed your order will be entered into our production system/process. Sometimes this can take between 1-5 days depending on the order volumes. It will then go to our shipping department and anything in stock will ship (this will usually take between 1-5 days again depending on volumes). You will be e-mailed a tracking # through either UPS or USPS depending on how it ships when it has shipped. If your order does not ship then it will wait until the next production run that will complete your order. If you order more than one item then the shipment may be split to get you what product is in stock."
Does my credit card get charged when I place my order?
"No. Your credit card does not get charged until your order is ready to ship. That way if you cancel or if there are any changes to be made to your order this can happen prior to shipping. There can be expections to this if you order a custom order. We will generally charge you for a non-refundable, non-changeable fee since you are ordering something other than a stock item and it is customized to your needs."
Can I change my order?
"Yes....you can change your order before it is shipped. Please e-mail info@skinzprotectivegear.com to make any changes. Once it has shipped then changes can no longer be made."
Can I cancel my order?
"You can cancel your order (unless it is a custom order) at anytime before your order is shipped. To cancel please e-mail to info@skinzprotectivegear.com Once your order has shipped it will no longer be able to be cancelled....you are now looking at a returnand we do charge a restocking fee."
What if I have a warranty issue?
"Unfortunately sometimes in life everything does not go as planned and everything is not perfect. Sometimes issues come up. If you have a problem (whether it is on your end or our end) we try to work with you to get your problem solved in the best possible way. It is up to our discretion on how a problem is handled and if it is a warranty issue. Please see our warranty section for more explanation.
What if I am from Canada or another country?
We recommend that you purchase through a local dealer. We will not cover shipping expenses wheather warranty or non-warranty to other countries. We apologize but it is not considered our intention to sell directly to retail customers whether in the US or out of the US. We are a manufacturer and we are set up to supply by distribution. We should be your last resort to ordering and you will have to do so at your own risk. We will honor our product with our warranty but shipping is excluded from our warranty coverage (see warranty section for more details.)
