They store easily in your pack but are comfortable enough to wear for the whole ride. Made from a heavy duty HDPE plastic shell bonded between 2 pieces of 1/8" laminated neoprene. Shaums March Convertible Knee/Shin Pads
The Shaums March Signature Series set can be worn with or without the hard shell on top-thus making it convertible. The pad on the left is shown without the convertible shell and the pad on the right is shown wearing it. The pads end a couple of inches above the knee.
